Unison Networks Limited is an electricity distribution and fibre optic network company, based in Hastings, New Zealand. Unison owns and manages the electricity lines network and the fibre optic network in the Hawke's Bay, Rotorua and Taupo regions. The service area covers 12,000 km².

Unison is wholly owned by the Hawke's Bay Power Consumers' Trust. The Trust holds shares on behalf of Hawke's Bay power consumers connected to Unison's network. This ensures the Company is focused on delivering economic benefits to our customers and community shareholders.

Unison Fibre

Unison Fibre is the wholesale provider of ultra-fast broadband, via an extensive open access fibre optic network, constructed using world-class equipment. The fibre network is made up of 700 kilometres of fibre optic cable across the key business areas in Hawke's Bay, Rotorua and Taupo, especially major substations in the entire Hawke's Bay region that require telecommunication services to communicate with each other and Unison's main control room, including Centralines' network supply area in Central Hawke's Bay.
