Westpower is an electricity distribution company, based in Greymouth. They own and operate the electricity distribution network on the scenic West Coast of New Zealand's South Island. Their supply area extends from the Grey district to Reefton and its surrounds in the central Buller district, scenic locations of Westland including, Hokitika, Franz Josef, Haast etc. in the Westland district, although there is a generation company that owns small hydroelectric power schemes at Haast and Fox Glacier called, NZ Energy Ltd.
